You Toss me a Peach, I Give you a White Jade in Return
TechStars Donated COVID-19 Test Kits to Cambodia
The 2019-nCoV hit Wuhan, China at the beginning of 2020. At the most difficult time in the fight against the epidemic, the royal family and governments at all levels as well as social sectors and civilians of Cambodia took different measures to offer support to China for epidemic prevention and control. With the global spread of the epidemic, confirmed COVID-19 cases also appeared in the Kingdom of Cambodia, which is facing the critical moment in curbing the outbreak and is in urgent need of a large number of anti-epidemic supplies.
As the Chinese saying goes, you toss me a peach, I give you a white jade in return. To help Cambodia fight against the epidemic, Techstars, a sister company of NEST, donated 3,000 COVID-19 nucleic acid test kits which are worth more than RMB 300,000 to the Ministry of Health, Cambodia, through congressman Sossala of Preah Vihear Province. The handover ceremony was held in Phnom Phenh. Cambodian Health Minister Mam Bunheng expressed heartfelt thanks to TechStars for its generous donation and said that it would be of great help to Cambodia in the fight against the epidemic.
