NEST Erlenmeyerflasks are suitable for microbial strain screening, large-scale fermentation trials, suspension cell or bacterial cultures. They can also be used for media preparation, mixing, and storage. Additionally, they can be equipped with a closed system to ensure the safety of operations such as sample addition, sampling, and liquid disposal, thus preventing contamination.
They are electron beam sterilized, free of DNase/RNase, endotoxins, and cell toxicity.

Validation Testing
During the product validation process, NEST conducts tests on all performance parameters according to product technical requirements to ensure that the products meet design specifications. NEST's products undergo product design verification, process window validation, performance verification, small batch trial production, and three batch production tracking during the development phase to ensure that the products are consistently and reliably manufactured to meet design requirements.
After product validation and mass production, some of the performance tests from the initial validation phase are converted into periodic monitoring and batch testing to control product quality.

・Batch Testing: Testing is conducted before the release of each batch of products during the production process to ensure that any quality issues are identified and corrected promptly during production.
Material Highlights
The conical Erlenmeyerflasks are made from PC and PETG materials, while the high-efficiency Erlenmeyerflasks are made entirely from PC material. The bottle caps are made from PP material, all of which comply with USP Class VI standards.
The bottle caps come in two types: a sealed cap and a breathable cap. The breathable cap is lined with a 0.22μm PTFE breathable membrane.
01 PETG
・PETG meets environmental and FDA food certification standards, offering high rigidity and hardness while maintaining good toughness.
・The bottle body has high transparency and is resistant to breakage.
・It has excellent chemical resistance, capable of withstanding a variety of chemicals.
・It can endure temperatures as low as -80°C, and after high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization, it collapses inward, reducing the volume of biological hazard residues.
02 PC
PC can withstand high temperatures and pressure up to 121°C. It offers excellent optical properties with high transparency, is lightweight, and has good wear resistance. Additionally, it has strong impact resistance, superior oxidation resistance, excellent UV resistance, and solutions are less likely to adhere to the walls of the container.
03 PP
PP can withstand high temperatures and pressure up to 121°C. It has good strength, rigidity, hardness, and heat resistance. PP is virtually non-absorbent and does not react with most chemicals, offering excellent resistance to chemical corrosion.
04 PTFE Breathable Membrane
Waterproof, bacteria-resistant, and breathable, it facilitates gas exchange while effectively preventing the entry and exit of microorganisms.
Comprehensive Specifications
NEST Erlenmeyerflasks come in a wide range of specifications. In addition to the commonly used 125mL, 250mL, 500mL, and 1L conical Erlenmeyerflasks for laboratory purposes, there are also larger capacity options available, such as 2L and 3L Erlenmeyerflasks.
The high-efficiency Erlenmeyerflasks are available in 2L, 3L, 3L (wide mouth), and 5L (with handle) sizes. Erlenmeyerflasks with baffles are available in all sizes, except for the 2L model. Compatible caps for each size can be purchased separately.

1.Flat erlenmeyer flask
The flat structure on all sides allows the flask to be securely placed on a shaking platform, effectively controlling foam formation.
2.Baffled erlenmeyer flask
The buffered bottom design enhances gas exchange efficiency, ensuring better oxygen dissolution in the culture medium, especially at lower shaking speeds. Erlenmeyerflasks with baffles and a baffled bottom offer even higher gas exchange efficiency. However, they also increase shear forces on the cells, so they are not recommended for shear-sensitive cell types.

・The optimized bottom design of the high-efficiency Erlenmeyerflask takes up less space compared to conventional conical Erlenmeyerflasks of the same capacity, significantly improving the utilization rate of the shaking platform and increasing production capacity. It also reduces shear force on the cells and effectively controls foam formation.
· The handle is designed for easy lifting and provides high structural reliability and sturdiness. It addresses issues such as liquid residue in integrated cavity handles, offering a detachable and flexible design.
